Dr. Linda Ko

Biography

Dr. Linda Ko is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). She serves as the Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Family Medicine and is a full member of the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Ko's research focuses on behavioral interventions, dissemination and implementation science, and participatory research approaches, particularly aimed at improving health outcomes for underrepresented populations. With extensive experience leading NIH and CDC-funded trials, she has mentored early-career faculty, helping them advance their research careers. Dr. Ko has published over 100 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, addressing multi-level interventions, cancer prevention, and various public health issues. She employs a strong community-engagement approach in her research, often involving stakeholders in study design and implementation. Her collaborative work includes developing tailored health interventions and exploring community-based strategies to enhance health equity among diverse populations.
