Biography

Linda L. Norton earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific in 1991. She completed a year of residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, California, followed by a year at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, focusing on drug information. Additionally, she has completed a two-year drug information fellowship with the American Academy of Pain Management in Sonora, California. Dr. Norton joined the Pacific pharmacy family in 1993. She enjoys teaching at the University of the Pacific, viewing each day as a new adventure. She strongly believes that the students at Pacific will make a positive impact on the world, contributing to the School's vibrant environment. She credits the faculty and staff for fostering a supportive atmosphere where creativity thrives. Dr. Norton is a member of the Rho Chi Honor Society since 1988 and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society since 1990. She has served as the Faculty Advisor for Pacific's chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma and is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, having held various committee roles within the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. She enjoys outdoor activities, playing with her dog, gardening, and camping, and is a lifelong learner with a passion for reading historical and adventure novels.
