Linda Nubani is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Interior Design Program at Michigan State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Architecture with a cognate in Criminology from the University of Michigan, along with two Master's degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Cincinnati. As an international speaker, Nubani leads workshops aimed at combatting crime through strategic design, and she has chaired the 50th Environmental Design Research Association conference in New York. In 2023, she was appointed as a Board Director for the U.S. CPTED Association. Active in research initiatives funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Nubani is also co-PI on a National Science Foundation project to develop a curriculum focused on technology in mass timber education.
