Biography

Linda Qu is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She is board-certified and fellowship-trained in Complex General Surgical Oncology. Dr. Qu earned her medical degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and completed her general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. She furthered her training with a Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she also received a graduate certificate in clinical research from the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Clinical Research Education. Her clinical interests include hepatopancreatobiliary and complex gastrointestinal cancers, melanoma, soft tissue malignancies, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery. Dr. Qu is committed to patient care and maintains an active clinical research program while serving as the Clerkship Director for the Surgery clerkship in Lansing. She is an active member of the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA), and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Originally from Michigan, Dr. Qu is passionate about serving patients with cancer in her home community, delivering compassionate care during critical times.
