Dr. Linda Reif

Biography

Professor Linda C. Reif is a member of the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta, where she has served since 1987. She holds an LLB from the University of Windsor and an LLM from the University of Cambridge. Professor Reif is extensively published in the fields of international human rights law, international business law, and international trade law, with works that are widely cited across Canadian, European, and Asia-Pacific publications. Her notable publications include "Ombuds Institutions, Good Governance and the International Human Rights System" and "Kindred's International Law: Chiefly Interpreted and Applied in Canada". In addition to her teaching role, she has held significant administrative positions, including Associate Dean for Graduate Studies. Her research interests include international human rights law, international business transactions, and national human rights institutions.
