Biography

Linda is an instructor at the College of Nursing at the University of Manitoba's Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. She leads health and illness theory courses and serves as the clinical course leader for senior practicum students. Linda graduated from the nursing program at St. Boniface Hospital and has worked as a registered nurse in various specialty areas, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, ENT surgery, GI surgery, and oncology. Her passion for teaching began when she was hired as a clinical education facilitator at the College of Nursing. Linda believes in the importance of lifelong learning and continues her professional development through ongoing workshops and courses. Her graduate thesis focused on the perspectives of nursing students regarding success factors in clinical settings, contributing to her foundational knowledge in supporting students' success in nursing programs.
