Dr. Lindsay Johnston

Biography

Lindsay Johnston is a Professor of Pediatrics specializing in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her medical education at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Pittsburgh and a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Johnston is dedicated to educating and training fellows within her department and serves as the Director of Fellowships and the Associate Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Training Program. Her interests include educational research focused on procedural training and the development of competency assessments using simulation techniques. Dr. Johnston's notable contributions to the field include research on neonatal intubation outcomes and curriculum development tailored for neonatal fellows. As a certified Healthcare Simulation Educator, she is committed to enhancing the skills and knowledge of her trainees through innovative educational approaches.
