Dr. Lindsey Mahoney

Biography

Lindsey Mahoney, MD, is an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in the Department of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Mahoney is dedicated to advancing patient care, medical education, and clinical research. She earned her Medical Doctorate from Georgetown University School of Medicine and developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care and evidence-based practice. Her clinical expertise focuses on comprehensive primary care with an emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and health equity. Dr. Mahoney's research interests include improving healthcare delivery systems and addressing disparities in access to care, particularly for underserved populations. She is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, fostering the next generation of compassionate and skilled physicians. As a board-certified internist, Dr. Mahoney is committed to integrating innovative approaches to patient care and demonstrates a deep commitment to community health.
