Dr. Ling Li

Biography

Professor Ling Li participates in a wide range of complex projects within health services research, focusing on areas such as patient safety, health care delivery, health informatics, and clinical epidemiology. He is a trained biostatistician with a strong track record in designing and analyzing large-scale studies aimed at evaluating the impacts of health interventions through the use of complex health datasets. His work involves a variety of study designs, including cluster randomized trials, stepped wedge cluster randomized controlled trials, time-motion studies, and observational studies. Professor Li has conducted advanced statistical analyses on large-scale studies, including evaluations of pathology testing utilization, risk identification tools for early detection of sepsis, and the effects of information technology changes on error rates in clinical work patterns. He has made significant contributions to the development and application of statistical approaches in health services research, and his research interests include Biostatistics, Quantitative Methods in Health Service Research, Health Evaluation, Patient Medication Safety, Public Health Epidemiology, Health Informatics, and Meta-Analysis.
