Biography

Linsey Stiles has 15 years of experience in mitochondrial research. In 2016, she joined UCLA as the Scientific Director of the Mitochondria and Metabolism Core and became a faculty member of the David Geffen School of Medicine. The mission of the Mitochondria Core is to provide the scientific community with the necessary technical and conceptual resources for studying mitochondrial function. The Core supports mitochondrial research for both academic and industry users, specializing in mitochondrial bioenergetics and providing guidance and services focused on mitochondrial bioenergetic functions, respirometry, ATP production, and imaging mitochondrial mass and membrane potential. Linsey's research interests include developing novel approaches to measure mitochondrial function.
