Biography

Lisa Chamberlain is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Liverpool and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management. Her research focuses on the quality of working life in micro and small businesses, examining employment relationships in various contexts, including creative work. Additionally, her PhD research delved into hairdressers’ quality of working life and employment relationships, which fostered her interest in the application of digital technologies in traditionally manual trades and in training apprenticeships. Lisa has previously worked in human resources within the private logistics sector and administration in the public sector. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Humanities from the University of Maryland Global Campus and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc. CIPD).
