Biography

Lisa Cirigliano is a licensed midwife since 2019, having graduated from Stony Brook University School of Nursing with a master's degree. She has a passion for providing safe, quality, and compassionate care to women and families. Lisa deeply believes in the power of a woman's body and its innate ability to give birth. She supports and respects the normal physiological processes of labor and birth, using evidence-based practices to enhance outcomes for both mothers and infants. Prior to her midwifery career, Lisa obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix and has been a Registered Nurse since 2000, becoming a certified RNC-OB Nurse and Lactation Counselor in 2014. Lisa has experience as a labor delivery nurse and birthing center nurse at Mount Sinai West. Outside of her professional life, she resides in Long Island with her children and dogs and enjoys reading, spending days at the beach, and skiing with family.
