Biography

Lisa Ferrara is an Assistant Professor in the Teaching Stream at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. With 30 years of experience in community pharmacy, she has dedicated 15 years to being a preceptor for pharmacy students. Since joining the faculty in 2018, she has served as a clinical instructor and has been instrumental in contributing to medication therapy management for PharmD students. She co-leads the Experiential Education component of the new three-year Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum and has designed a longitudinal experiential course for first-year students that connects their knowledge and skills with real-world situations early in their pharmacy journey.
