Biography

Lisa Forsberg is a Research Fellow at the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in the Faculty of Philosophy and a Fulford Junior Research Fellow at Somerville College. Her main research interests lie in normative practical ethics and the philosophy of medical and criminal law. She is also a research affiliate with the Legal Priorities Project and an associate member of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy. Prior to her current role, Lisa held a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship and was a Research Associate on the Mental Health Justice project at the University of York. Additionally, she has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Practical Ethics at the Rotman Institute of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario, and she contributed to a project focused on 'Neurointerventions in Crime-Prevention: An Ethical Analysis' at the Faculty of Philosophy at Oxford. Lisa holds a PhD in Philosophy of Law and an MA in Ethics and Medical Law from King's College London, along with BAs in Philosophy and Politics from Stockholm University. Her doctoral thesis focused on the justification of the lawfulness of medical interventions.
