Biography

Dr. Lisa Knisley is an assistant professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Manitoba, where her research focuses on knowledge translation and mobilization in acute child healthcare. With a commitment to improving health outcomes for children and families needing acute care in Manitoba, Dr. Knisley co-leads REACH (Research Enhancement Acute care Children's Health) at the Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. She is also the co-director of the Translating Emergency Knowledge Kids (TREKK), a national knowledge mobilization network based at CHRIM. Her work includes accelerating the availability of the latest evidence for children's emergency care and engaging healthcare providers in knowledge mobilization activities. Dr. Knisley's contributions are critical for developing educational resources and clinical tools that support healthcare providers and families, particularly in rural and remote communities.
