Biography

Lisa J. Lucero is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Illinois. She received her Ph.D. from UCLA in 1994. Lucero’s research interests focus on the Classic Maya civilization, exploring themes of ritual, political power, climate change, and sustainability.
