Biography

Lisa Mullen is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in Diagnostic Radiology and Breast Imaging. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Virginia in 1987, followed by a medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1991. Dr. Mullen completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where she served as Co-Chief Resident from 1995 to 1996. After completing her fellowship in Cross-Sectional Imaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1997, Dr. Mullen worked for five years in private practice, focusing on general radiology and developing her expertise in breast imaging. Since joining Johns Hopkins Radiology in 2002, she has been actively involved in clinical breast imaging and education for residents and fellows. In 2013, she became the Breast Imaging Fellowship Director, contributing to the education and training in this specialized area of radiology.
