Dr. Lisa Richardson

Biography

Lisa Richardson, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with a commitment to empowering women and enhancing community health. She is an active member of the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Academy of Pediatrics. As the Vice Chair of Culture Engagement in the Department of Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, she is dedicated to promoting restorative principles and creating inclusive environments in healthcare. In her role, Richardson focuses on improving communication and collaboration to ensure all individuals feel valued and empowered. She has contributed significantly to addressing health disparities and fostering a sense of belonging within the community. Her research interests include trauma-informed care and its application in various treatment settings, as well as the impacts of obesity on adolescents and the role of dietary factors in metabolic health.
