Lisa Vallely is a Senior Lecturer at the Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales, with over 25 years of experience as a midwife and public health researcher in low-resource settings including Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, Kenya, and Zambia. Lisa has been awarded the Emerging Leader Award by the Kirby Institute in 2021, and she is a recipient of the NHMRC Early Career Fellowship from 2018 to 2021, as well as multiple teaching and research excellence awards from the University of Queensland.
