Biography

Lisanne Stone holds a PhD in Developmental Psychopathology from Radboud University, where she examined the psychometric properties of screening instruments for psychosocial problems in children's development, focusing on internalizing issues through longitudinal, multi-informant, and multi-method data from 2009 to 2014. Concurrently, she worked in clinical practice and obtained her registration as a GZ psychologist in 2017. In 2017, she joined Karakter, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry University Center, where she discovered her passion for working collaboratively with adolescents and their parents. Through her clinical work, she has gained extensive experience in treating high-risk emotional regulation issues within a systemic and outreach high-intensity care context. In 2024, she moved to the Department of Developmental Psychology at Tilburg University, where she aims to merge conceptual systems research and clinical practice, advocating for improved understanding and collaboration in systemic crisis care for youth.
