Dr. Lise Chrétien

Biography

Lise Chrétien is a Full Professor at Université Laval's Faculty of Business Administration (FSA ULaval), occupying the Department of Management. With a rich background in industrial relations, she holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) from Université de Montréal and a Master's (M.A.) and Bachelor's (B.A.) from Laval University. She specializes in research related to work-life balance, human resources management, and organizational communication. As the Director of the Groupe de recherche en gestion des rôles de vie (GRGRV) since 2018, she is actively involved in research activities aimed at promoting a culture of balance in organizations. Throughout her academic career, she has supervised numerous master's and doctoral students, contributing significantly to their academic and professional development. Professor Chrétien has held various roles, including evaluation committee memberships, and has participated in professional development events and workshops. She has published articles in print media, showcasing her expertise in work-life balance. Her contributions to the field have earned her accolades, including doctoral and master's scholarships from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, indicating her strong academic performance and commitment to research.
