Biography

Lise Horneman Hansen is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at Uppsala University. She has a robust academic background, having studied Scandinavian Languages at the University of Copenhagen from 1986 to 1993. Her doctoral research focused on Danish Dialects, particularly the weak preterite forms in Jutland dialects, which culminated in a PhD thesis completed in 2001. Since 1999, she has been teaching Danish language courses at Uppsala University, where she also serves as the coordinator for the Bachelor's program in languages, known as Språkvetarprogrammet. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is the departmental contact for various exchange programs such as Nordliks and Nordkurs Erasmus, and serves as a secretary for the journal Språk och stil. Lise is dedicated to advancing the understanding of Nordic languages and dialects.
