Biography

Livianna Tossutti is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Political Science at Brock University. She previously served as an Associate Professor and has retired from full-time teaching. Her research focuses on local government and immigrant integration policies in Canada and the United States, with a particular interest in resilient cities and civic participation. Tossutti is the co-director of a SSHRC-funded Partnership Development Grant from 2024 to 2027, aimed at mobilizing subjugated knowledges within the Inclusive Niagara project.
