Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada, in January 2010. He has received multiple Teaching Excellence Awards at UBCO and has supervised Ph.D. students who achieved various prestigious paper awards. He has established a research lab focused on flexible power transmission for renewable energy integration, receiving significant funding for equipment and infrastructure.
