Professor Dr. Liz Darling

Biography

Liz Darling is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University, where she also serves as the Assistant Dean for Midwifery. With a rich academic background, she holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery from McMaster University, alongside a Master of Science in Health Research Methodology from the same institution and a PhD in Population Health from the University of Ottawa. Her research centers around critical areas such as Health Equity, Health Policy, and Health Systems, with a keen focus on Maternal Child Health services and Midwifery practices. Darling's extensive knowledge and expertise contribute significantly to her field, making her a prominent figure in the improvement of health care delivery and equity within maternal and child health.
