Dr. Liz Richardson

Biography

Liz Richardson is a Professor of Public Administration at the University of Manchester, where she leads the Discipline of Politics. Her research focuses on participatory urban governance, local politics, local government, public services, and public policy. She is particularly interested in methodological innovation, participatory research approaches, and experimental methods. Her work contributes to understanding the societal impacts of public policies and involves collaboration on projects related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Throughout her career, she has explored how civic behavior can be stimulated through participatory practices and has analyzed the implications of political representation in public policy.
