Biography

Lloyd Berg is a board-certified clinical health psychologist dedicated to advancing person-centered behavioral health practice and interprofessional medical education. He provides integrated mental health services at Ascension Seton, Dell Medical School’s hospital affiliate, and serves as the principal investigator for a HRSA-funded grant supporting the Integrated Behavioral Health Scholars Program, a cross-campus initiative aimed at addressing the behavioral health workforce shortage in Texas. Berg holds courtesy faculty appointments in the Department of Psychology, the Department of Educational Psychology, and the School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned both his master’s and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology from UT Austin and completed his internship training at the Counseling & Mental Health Center. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology, recognized for his contributions to academic medicine and health psychology education.
