Biography

Logan Montgomery is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Dalhousie University. He completed his PhD in Physics at McGill University in 2021, followed by a Medical Physics Residency at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario in 2023. He also holds a Master's degree in Medical Radiation Physics from McGill University (2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Prince Edward Island (2014). His research primarily focuses on data-driven quality improvement and automation in radiation oncology, as well as artificial intelligence radiomics and open science initiatives. Logan is a member of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine since 2024 and has received several honors, including the second place prize at the COMP Young Investigator Symposium in 2021 and the NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship for his doctoral studies from 2017 to 2019. He has authored multiple publications in notable journals, contributing valuable knowledge to the field of medical physics and radiation oncology.
