Biography

Lois Casaleggi graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Psychology) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining the Office of Career Services (OCS) at the University of Chicago Law School, she worked at the University of Illinois College of Law, where she was the Assistant Dean for Career Services and previously the Director of Career Services. Casaleggi is an active member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), having served on its Board of Directors and participated in various committees and task forces, including the recent Bylaws Committees, Strategic Planning Teams, Legislative Regulatory Reporting Task Force, Leadership Development Task Force, and Nominating Committee. Before her academic career, she practiced law at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy's Washington, D.C. office and worked as a litigator for five years at Anderson Kill Olick & Oshinsky, later part of Dickstein Shapiro Morin & Oshinsky. She also volunteered as an attorney for the Legal Counsel for the Elderly at the Whitman-Walker Clinic Legal Services.
