Biography

Lori Buchanan is a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor. She holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Waterloo and has previously served as a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Psycholinguistics. Her research focuses on neuropsychology, particularly how individuals with brain damage process and obtain meaning from printed words. In addition to her research, Dr. Buchanan teaches undergraduate courses in Sensation and Perception and Cognitive Neuroscience, as well as a graduate course on the Cognitive Basis of Behavior. With a keen interest in memory processes, she is dedicated to advancing understanding in her field.
