Biography

Lorne Campbell is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Western University. He earned his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2001. Campbell joined Western University in 2002 after serving as an Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University. He was honored as a Lorne Harrington Faculty Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences during 2008-09, and he has been recognized as a Faculty Scholar at Western University from 2012 to 2014. He is a well-respected expert in interpersonal relationships, research design, data analysis, and evolutionary psychology. His research has been funded by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Canadian Foundation for Innovation. Over the years, Campbell has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, co-authored a textbook on the science of romantic relationships, and edited books on various facets of relationship functioning.
