Louis Christofides is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Guelph and the University of Cyprus. He has served as Chair of the Department of Economics at both institutions and has also held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Cyprus. Christofides completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Essex, UK, earning a BA Honours in Economics in 1968.
