Dr. Louise Kringelum

Biography

Louise Brøns Kringelum is an associate professor specializing in strategic leadership, with a particular focus on the interplay of strategy, organizational development, and business models. She also specializes in the application of critical realism in the philosophy of science as it pertains to the study of strategic management. As a founding member of the Strategic Management Lab, Louise is dedicated to advancing both theory and practice in strategic management. She has contributed to a comprehensive survey of strategic work within Danish organizations, recognized as the Strategy Barometer. Louise is deeply involved in externally funded European projects that aim to address strategic change and sustainability. These projects include initiatives for collaborative sustainability in tourism, the transition of municipal vehicle fleets, and developing inter-organizational business models to reduce CO2 emissions. As the project manager for the CO2 Vision project, she represents the AAU Business School. Methodologically, Louise adopts an engaged scholar approach, working closely with both private and public entities in Denmark, focusing on creating social impact through her research. Her work has been published in several notable journals, underscoring her expertise in the context of port development and collaborative business models. She has also served in leadership roles at AAU Business School, supervising staff and teaching courses related to strategy and qualitative research methods at various educational levels.
