Biography

Dr. Louise Rang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Queen's University, where she has been a faculty member since September 2004. She completed a fellowship in emergency ultrasound at Advocate Christ Medical Centre in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Rang coordinates an annual residents' ultrasound course and oversees supervised ultrasound scans. Her contributions to the field are underscored by her participation in various academic and consensus statements regarding the use of ultrasound in emergencies.
