Biography

Lourdes Casanova is a Senior Lecturer and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Evolutionary Studies in Business at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University. Her research focuses on international business with a particular emphasis on Latin America, multinationals from emerging markets, and global business strategy. With a background in the strategy department at INSEAD, she has become a recognized expert in innovation and strategy in emerging markets. In 2014 and 2015, she was named one of the 50 most influential Ibero-American intellectuals by Esglobal and is a member of the board of directors at the Boyce Thompson Institute. She has held prestigious positions including that of a Fulbright Scholar and has received various accolades for her contributions to the field.
