Dr. Luc Brès

Biography

Luc Brès is a Full Professor and Co-director of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Corporate Social Responsibility (LIRSE) at Laval University. His research focuses on various aspects of management including organizational behavior, sustainability management, environmental management, and social innovation management. He has a substantial academic background with a Postdoctorate from Cass Business School and a Doctorate in Business Strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility from HEC Montreal. Over the years, he has engaged in numerous research projects, partnerships, and has contributed significantly to the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR). His scholarship includes evaluating the role of valuation in transforming collective action within pluralistic organizations and leading studies that assess responsible purchasing practices. Brès has taught various courses on responsible business, emphasizing sustainable development and corporate governance. He actively participates in the management community through publications, conference organization, and editorial activities across respected journals, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in responsible management practices.
