Biography

Luc Juillet is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. He has served as the founding director and has extensive experience in democratic government, public administration, and environmental policy. His research focuses on accountability in the public sector, regulation, lobbying, and conflicts of interest within government. Over the years, he has served as a consultant for various government agencies including the Treasury Board Secretariat and the Public Service Commission of Canada. Juillet has acted as an expert witness in the Federal Court of Canada and the Superior Court of Quebec concerning issues related to public service legislation. Additionally, he has worked internationally as an expert in civil service reforms for the Ministry of Administrative Reform in Greece. He is affiliated with the Institute of the Environment and currently serves as the associate editor for the Canadian Public Administration journal, while also editing a book series on Public Management and Governance with the University of Toronto Press.
