Biography

Lucas Herchenroeder received his PhD in Classics from the University of Southern California in 2010 and completed his MA in Classics at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003. His research interests focus on the literature and culture of late classical Hellenistic Greece, with a particular emphasis on the history of thought and the interplay between culture and science. He is currently engaged in a book project that explores the interaction between historical and scientific thinkers during the development of historical disciplines in the fourth centuries BCE.
