Biography

Luciano Garofalo received his doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a master of science in medical research from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland. His clinical training is focused on integrative primary care, pediatrics, and mental health. He completed a 3-year research fellowship at the University of Washington's Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing, funded by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health of NIH. Dr. Garofalo currently collaborates on research related to school-based health centers in partnership with HsPop and PHSKC. He is a co-founder of the Link Community Clinic, a non-profit family medicine clinic in Tacoma, where he practices pediatric primary care. Dr. Garofalo is a certified Autism Center of Excellence with the Washington State Health Care Authority and dedicates a significant portion of his practice to children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
