Biography

Lucien Nana Yobo is an Assistant Professor specializing in Isotope Geochemistry at Texas A&M University. His research interests include Paleoclimate, Paleoceanography, Carbonate Sedimentology, and Stratigraphy. With a focus on non-traditional stable isotopes like Ca, Sr, Cr, Mg, and Fe, he investigates the effects of past changes in Earth’s history on marine sedimentary rocks. His work combines various proxies and numerical box models to understand global biogeochemical changes, particularly during the Ocean Anoxic Event 2 (OAE 2). He is actively looking for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral researchers to join his group.
