Lucky Belder is an Assistant Professor at the Europa Institute of Utrecht University. His research interests encompass the institutional framework for arts and sciences, issues involving access to cultural heritage, and the introduction of new technology in society. He is a member of the working group on Culture, Communication, and Information for the Dutch UNESCO Commission, where he serves as an advisor on intellectual property, cultural heritage, and information policies related to cultural diversity. Belder was appointed as an advisor to the Dutch Arts Council and has coordinated and initiated several projects, including the HERA/EU-funded research project focusing on copyright and cultural diversity in cultural heritage institutions.
