Dr. Luis Carrillo

Biography

Luis Felipe Carrillo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Duke University. His academic interests lie primarily in flow cytometry, myeloid neoplasms, lymphoma diagnosis, cutaneous lymphomas, and the Epstein Barr virus. Alongside these research pursuits, he has a strong commitment to medical education, which encompasses his roles in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He completed his fellowship in Hematopathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 2017 to 2018, where he also completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from 2013 to 2017. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in both Hematology/Hematopathology and Anatomic Clinical Pathology. His dedication to the field of pathology is evident through his clinical duties and ongoing education efforts.
