Biography

Luis Chiriboga's research primarily focuses on developing immunohistochemical assays for biomarker development and translational research. His goal is to assist researchers and clinicians in the molecular and morphologic characterization of normal and diseased tissues, supporting the NYULMC research mission. He has been involved in the field of immunohistochemistry since 1990, during which time he has amassed a large data set of immunohistochemical markers and protocols, enabling researchers to rapidly assess targets. Additionally, he and his colleagues have begun exploring multiplexing techniques and are currently developing multicolor assays for a variety of applications.
