Biography

Luis Garicano is a Full Professor at the London School of Economics' School of Public Policy, focusing on Public Policy, Economics, and Management. He played a significant role in legislative initiatives related to the European Recovery Fund and carbon adjustment mechanisms and contributed to humanitarian actions during the Ukraine crisis. Garicano holds bachelor's degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Valladolid and a Master's degree in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe as well as a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
