Biography

Luis R. Saraiva is an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine specializing in human disease modeling and therapeutics. Over the years, he has served as adjunct faculty at Monell Chemical Senses Center and held a joint professor position at Hamad bin Khalifa University. His lab focuses on developing biological assays to explore the molecular basis of rare genetic diseases, aiming to advance diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for neurological, kidney, and heart diseases.
