An experienced community development practitioner and community organiser, I have worked with a range of local and national organisations, primarily centring my work on anarcha-feminist practice, anti-racist initiatives, mutual aid, consensus-based decision-making processes, and programmes for social inclusion. In 2023, I have held the role of Treasurer for the Community Development Journal and co-coordinate the Anarchist Studies Network, part of the Political Studies Association. Additionally, I lead a pay-what-you-can solidarity barbering project at the Glasgow Autonomous Space. My research interests focus on exploring how individuals, community campaigns, and organisations navigate, challenge, and adapt to austerity. I am particularly interested in supervising projects related to social inclusion, community work, hyperlocalised initiatives, community organising, queer anarchist practices, and dialogical approaches to education in informal and non-traditional settings.
