Dr. Luyao Shen

Biography

Luyao Shen is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Radiology department at Stanford University. His clinical focus includes Genitourinary Imaging, Urology Imaging, Gynecology Imaging, and Body Imaging. In addition to his role as Clinical Associate Professor, he serves as the Associate Medical Director of Cancer Radiology and Co-Medical Director for Point Care Ultrasound, with numerous administrative and editorial responsibilities within the field. Dr. Shen has received multiple awards for his contributions to radiology, including the Peer Review Excellence Award from the Journal of Abdominal Radiology and educational exhibit honors from the Radiological Society of North America. His engagement in various professional organizations reflects his commitment to advancing radiological practices and education. Dr. Shen is also actively involved in international work focused on RAD-AID, aiming to enhance radiological services in underserved areas of China. His research interests include clinical imaging for genitourinary conditions, utilizing serial ultrasound techniques for detecting early responses in cancer immunotherapy.
