Biography

Lyndsey Benson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Washington. She completed her fellowship in Family Planning at the University of Washington in 2016 and her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Chicago in 2014. Dr. Benson holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Case Western Reserve University, awarded in 2010, and obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in the same year. She is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2015 and has been licensed to practice in Washington since 2014. Her clinical interests focus on contraception and family planning, as well as general obstetrics, where she applies her expertise to ensure quality care for her patients through her practice at various clinics associated with UW Medical Center. Dr. Benson is an active member of several professional associations including the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
