Biography

Lynette Yarger is a Professor and the Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion at the Schreyer Honors College, part of the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State University. With a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University, Dr. Yarger has a deep commitment to utilizing critical social theories to study historically underserved groups and how appropriate information communication technologies can improve their life chances. Additionally, her research has been supported by various foundations and has led to the publication of over seventy-five peer-reviewed journal articles.
