Biography

Lynn Haley joined the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick in 2005 and is a member of the Human Resources area. She teaches Human Resources Management courses in both BBA and MBA programs. Haley has received multiple accolades, including the Professor of the Year award from the Business Administration Undergraduate Society in 2008 and the Faculty of Business Administration’s Annual Research Award in 2013. In 2014, she was honored with the Faculty’s Excellence in Teaching Award. With extensive professional experience in the non-profit and public sectors, she has held numerous leadership and advocacy roles. Haley served as the Executive Director of the Canadian Paraplegic Association (New Brunswick) Inc. from 1995 to 2005 and was a member of the Premier’s Council on the Status of Disabled Persons from 1994 to 2000, chairing the council from 2000 to 2003. She has participated in various committees and action groups, focusing on disability policy, rehabilitation services, and accreditation processes. Her academic interests encompass human resource management, employment law, business ethics, and strategic management in not-for-profit organizations.
